Exquisite

We went to the grove for the 9283743287th time today. ZOMGZ I’m always going to the Coach there and I had to get stuff for my sister’s friend and like my mum’s friend friend friend so nevermind la.

But the MOST exciting part is that we had lunch at THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY!!!!

WOOH!!!

We’ve been wanting to try it since we saw it in San Francisco but the queue was always ridiculously long so we checked the one at the Grove today and it was only a 5 minute wait so YAY.

It was probably the best pasta I’ve ever eaten, and the best cheesecake I’ve ever laid my tongue upon.

The restaurant was quite atas la. The people will call your name and like personally take you to your table and to enter the seating area must take escalator all. Quite nice la actually.

Serene’s Cajun Jambalaya (!) Shrimp and Chicken thingy thing thing.

Yan Hao and I had the Bistro Shrimp pasta which was THE BEST PASTA ON EARTH! Its like a lemon garlic sauce with fat battered shrimp ZOMGZ YUMZ TO THE MAXXORZ.

Mine was spaghettini

and he had penne

And then our server asked us if we wanted Parmesan and we said yes, so I was expecting her to bring like, those powdered parmesan cheese in a shaker bottle for us to shake but NO!

She came with a BLOCK of parmesan cheese and a GRATER! And grated wondrous cheese all over the pasta. YUMMERZ.

The pasta was so delicious I can still taste it. And smell it and oh yumz.

The thing about eating out is that the portions are really huge so after that, we were stuffed.

But we couldn’t just leave the Cheesecake Factory without eating any of their glorious cheesecakes! So we just decided to order a slice to share.

Deciding what cheesecake to order wasn’t easy because they really have 8932743298 types. The cheesecake menu was super long, its crazy.

However, upon further scrutiny, the choice became clear.

The Godiva cheesecake was orgasmic I tell you! Its like 3 layers of goodness and you’re left begging for more.

Its the godiva chocolate la I bet.

OMG we cut the chocolate into 4, not kidding. haha.

AND they gave us 2 servings of artery clogging fresh whipped cream.

Looks like the cerebellum haha.

YUMZ.

The whole selection of Cheesecakes. They really have 29387423897 kinds. And like a few kinds of normal cakes which are like 15cm high. I am NOT exaggerating the 15cm.

We went to Coach to get stuff right and I thought that the bag they gave serene was humongous.

But NO!. Check mine out.

After all the eating and stuff, we took a bus and a train to downtown LA.

The movie ‘Speed’ starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock was filmed in the LA metro train station! The last part! Coolios? Coolios.

Anyway, those who watched Get Smart will recognise this! The Disney Concert Hall, at the very last part of the movie when the bomb was going to blow. It was shot right here!

Well then we went to a mall nearish to Westwood and I seriously splurged on benefit cosmetics. They are SO pretty, its too irresistable to not buy them.

Me: What do you recommend I get for my sister? She tells me that she wants fun stuff.
Salesgirl: ALL these ARE fun stuff! Like we SCREAM fun!

Haha. And the salesgirl was so friendly la! She was like, come back in 2 days, I’ll give you a free lesson on how to do smokey eyes!

I will not shop anymore.
