The second kid, Riley, just broke my hearttttt. </3 So sad!
Now I know. There is a difference when someone says “I want to be a girl” and “I am a girl”.
And it seems that by the age of 2, children would have already established their gender identity.
Now I wonder if there is a Islamic view on this. Or are parents just supposed to force their kids to be what they’re supposed to be.

Darling, as parent, it is our obligation to Allah, we are supposed to guide our child to the correct path. Every child came to this world pure/white, parents color them. For a start, do not allow your child to cross dress as this will only give them a wrong signal and confuse the child. Always remember my late relative whose son became hotel chef, he was corrected at his early age, Alhamdulillah. It was hard initially, but can be done, insyaAllah.
