We’ve been talking about it for SO LONG and now its totally our time to SHINE!

Just now during our lecture, we were planning our strategy again!

WE ARE SO HARD CORE!!!! OUR BRAINS AND THEIR STRENGTH!!!! Haha Shah ftw!

And Dazril was showing us the article in Today about how the latest season of TARA has upped its intellectual ante and like its totally for people who would bring sophistication to the show and OMG! ITS TOTALLY US!!!!!!!

Me: Okay we must now think of what to do for our audition video!
Shah: Ya, we must be interesting!
Me: OF COURSE WE ARE! We’re like the MOST interesting people ever omg what’s wrong with you!
Shah: Interesting? Seriously?
Me: UHH YA?
Shah: Amy, all we do everyday is to go for lectures.

DANGZ! Then Shah suggested that we should be Enemies, like frenemies. But OMG its so cliche and not to mention ultra BIMBZ like omg have you seen nicole and paris. Hello Shah! They’re looking for intellect!

And intellect is what we totally have! Today we calculated a 3 month moving average forecast in less than 3s with NO SWEAT la I tell you omgggg. Okay so sometimes we accidentally do stupid things like try to move a table which is nailed to the ground, but everyone has those moments!

And we told our classmates and they we SO sweet and supportive! They were like “OMG if you get selected must tell me ok then I make banner for you all!”

We had sushi for lunch after class today and Shah and I were just not feelin it omgsianz.

Soo annoyed ley. He kept interrupting my eating of the scallop to take photo omggg. LEAVE ME AND MY SCALLOP ALONE RAFIQ!!!!!

Hehe.

And my face still quite burnt right! As a mega bonus the skin above my lip is peeling like maddd! I had to go to school with moisturizer on my face ew!

And Mr Ahmad couldn’t join us because he was still in schoolzie

Cycling Extravaganza

Some of my classmates and I went on a cycling expedition yesterday! Haha okay its not really an expedition la, we just cycled from East coast all the way to the food centre at changi.

That’s like 20km 1 way, and there was this insane 8km long stretch of nothingness adjacent to the airport runway which was soooooo mind numbing!

And my bike had some gear problem and the chain refused to shift up and was making a shitload of noise! That, coupled with the fact that I was freaking tired, I just decided to enjoy the 8km stretch while everyone was like a good 100m ahead by singing damn passionately to myself! Haha!

We FINALLY reached changi beach park, but there was about 3km more to get to the food centre! By that time most of us were out of steam and we rested for 15min or so where I switched bikes with zhi cheng, his bike was lower anyway so it was better! And the gears were working like a dream!

Hehe and he was complaining about the noisy chain too!

It was fun lah, cycling 40 odd km over 5h omggg haha. Tiring as heck but sooo much fun! And like I had a million and 1 mishaps with my bike, and sometimes when I’m tired, its just so much harder to get the balance to get the bike started so I start wobbling and take FOREVER to start. Haha but Dazril was super nice that day and waited for me haha kesian he had to stop and wait macam a million times!

Hehe some fun before school starts again on Monday I guess. MEGA GROANZ.

I am wearing this again today.

But I’m taking the bus today. Lets see how it goes.

Giraffe

Met up with Jasmine and Muthiah today! We always joke that we probably will only meet once in 5 years, but I think its safe to say that the last time the three of us met up was 3 years ago?

Of all my classmates in JC, I guess I was the closest to these two? Not really la, my class was quite united because I was their awesome class rep duh.

But ya my multiracial friends!

WE NEED MORE HALAL RESTAURANTS IN TOWN SO NON MUSLIMS CAN HAVE MORE CHOICES WHEN DINING OUT WITH MUSLIM FRIENDS!

Haha anyway, we went to eat at fish at 313. Again, for me. The staff recognised me haha totally right.

I had their salad buffet ($5.90 only with main course!) and the two of them shared the seafood platter. The salad buffet was not bad actually! They had like different kinds of seafood salads so its not bad, quite worth the money. My only gripe is that they have nachos but no cheese!! They should at least have some form of cheese sauce!

While we were deciding what cake to get, the same guy from yesterday recommended us the SAME brownie thing we had yesterday. So I asked the kid if he remembered me and he was like “Haha ya I remember you! So maybe you guys should order a different cake since she already had this brownie yesterday.”

His name is Jacky and he’s really damn nice!

We got the caramel cheesecake OMG YUMZ!!! Jacky said their cakes were all flown in from the USA! How awesome! And he said that Saturday is the best time to buy their cakes because there is a 15% discount and Saturday is also the day that they get new cake batches.

Yup, caramel cheesecake! Totally recommended!

Foodfest galore!

We were at 313 today (my first time there) and apparently basement 3, which was closed before was now opened. So we walked around, hungry as heck, and decided to eat at fish!

Its the halal sister of fish and co!

The service was great, I must say. The wait staff were very attentive but to a point that it became quite in our faces but it was still okay lah. Prompt water refills and the staff checked on whether the food was ok.

Shah’s prawn fettuccine! Nice! And the prawns were fat! Yumz!

Dazril’s codfish with lemon pesto sauce! CHECK OUT HOW THICK AND FAT THE TOMATOES ARE!!!!! ABSOLUTE LOVE! This was nice too!

And my cheddar cheese breaded barramundi! Came with the ultra fat tomato slices too! YUMZ.

While we were deciding if we wanted cake for dessert, one of the waiters was refilling our drinks and making recommendations on what cake to get. So daz asked him, “when did you guys open?”

And he was like, “Mmm TODAY actually.”

Haha NO WONDER LA the service was sooo on the ball! Apparently the entire floor opened today! All the shops were super hyper and nice.

Like we walked past the each a cup stall and the auntie was like “BUBBLE TEA??” tilts head and smiles!

Has that ever happened to you at a regular bubble tea stall? NO!

Haha so anyway we ordered some brownie pecan nut thingy, I can’t remember the name but it was all levels of awesomeness.

YUMYUM!

After that Daz left and Shah and I walked aimlessly around to wait for mahgrib and Baba! After praying, we decided on going to breeks for dinner, but when we got there, breeks was not there anymore!

Apparently it closed for good? Like yesterday?

So Swensens it was!

Haha I know right, megaaaa pig out and mega hole in my pocket! I have 2 more dinners this week. So totally going to be broke.

Shah’s chicken frank which we agreed grew in size! I don’t remember it being so huge!

Baba’s salmon and mushroom baked rice! It looked yummy so next time I’m going to have that!

And I got my latest most favourite thing on the menu:

Baked spaghetti bolognese! I know it looks gross la but it definitely tastes better than it looks! I have mega love for this!

We took another one with flash but check out the wait staff in the background!
