So my dad was driving me to class today and we were talking about him and his mountain bike and his fave bicycle shop in JB.

Me: Oh you know what kind of bicycle I want?

(No he’s not buying me a bike and I’m not asking for one. We’re just talking.)

Dad: Ah what?

Me: You know the kind with a straw basket in front??? SO AWESOME LEY!

(it can also look quite fierce, see below!)

And my dad suddenly like let out this really LOUD and disgusted

Dad: EEEEE!!! MACAM PEREMPUAN!!!!! (EEE! So girly!)

Uhhhhh.

Okay.

I didn’t even know how to react to that. (I was still reeling from shock because of his extremely loud EEE! Hahaha)

And most importantly I don’t really recall having a penis. So I really don’t see what’s the problem.

Oh Dadzie.

Sigh!

Its Saturday but we had lectures from 9am-6pm!

Insane right! And we ordered Sarpinos for lunch! We placed the order yesterday hahahah.

OMG it is my first time having their pizzas and I must say that they are damn good! I really really love the pesto one! Pesto is mega love!

HANYWAYS I really regretted not bringing my camera today because we took a class photo with the hot prof today and its so bloody obvious the china people want to take the photo just because he’s hot because they didn’t offer to take photo with our first lecturer today!

How hurtful is that!!

I would have wanted a photo with BOTH profs srzly.

Well anyway it is my fault that I didn’t bring a camera and so I shouldn’t really be feeling dissatisfied but I just got really annoyed when the picture came in the email today because

1) it wasn’t clear (pet peeve to the maximus)

2) it was resized omg are you kidding me. WHY on earth would you resize a photo that is already blur.

3) the composition was like shit

Well I really HAD to crop the photo to make it as clear as I can and I have already adjusted the lighting and shadows as best as I can and this is what it looks like finally!

UGHHHH. I swear if I had used the camera in my handphone, it would have turned out like a million times better!

Hehe but whatever it is I’m SO glad we are done with the 9-6 days!! It was getting tmth!

Gorgeous

We are back at Pixel building today! This week’s module is Chem Business Administration, so basically its a whole bunch of business mumbo jumbo, which, mm, doesn’t really keep me awake.

We have two lecturers for this module, one will take the morning 9-1230 lecture and the other will take the 2-6 lecture.

So the morning lecturer came in and insisted that we make those name-card-stands thing with paper!

OMG SRZLY!!! That’s so primary school!!

After lunch, Elvin took all our name stands, struck our names out,

and rewrote our names for all of us!! (only for our row lah, kiter kan popular group. actually Elvin called us the debate club wth)

I KNOW RIGHT!!!!!! Haha but that’s not all!! We even made one for the afternoon lecturer.

Elvin: Eh lets make one for the afternoon prof!! Dazril you write!

Dazril: -uncaps marker and begins art-

Elvin: Eh, use some boring font ah, like Times New Roman or something.

Haha Elvin ftw.

The afternoon lecturer, however, was FAR from boring because he was so gorgeous. The moment he stepped in, Shah was like “OMG AMY. HE’S HOT.”

And for the next ten mins or so, we were staring at him in awe and she was like “omg panas panas panas”

But ya he was gorgeous. It was like he came straight out of a magazine. Super tall, piercing blue sparkling deepset eyes like daniel meade (eric mabius) in Ugly Betty, the sharpest nose and the icing on the cake for me was his daughtry-ish beard!!!!!

SIGH OMG SRZLYYYYYYYYY HOT TO DABOMBZ. Oh yah and he had mega ginormous hands too!!

And when he would have his sexyback face us to write on the board, Shah would go something like “OMG Amy he’s so slim -sigh-”

He really is! And he’s super muscular with super defined pecs and biceps which were peeking through his awesome blue shirt and he’s tall and did I mention his pretty blue eyes?

Hehe but somehow Shah and I still managed to doze off in parts.

Oh and his voice is like extra deep!

Me: He’s gorgeous leh dzdip!

Dazril:  Yah lah, he’s alright. But he reminds me of the herbivorous dinosaur, the one with the long neck that goes mmmmmm -sways- you know, cos his voice is so deep and he’s so tall.

Shah: -frowns- What the-?

Me: HAHAHAHHAA OMG YAH ABIT!!!!

Oh and he also called my name in class today yay!

But whatever Ahmad is still the loml sorry.

Braving the elements part deux

I don’t know why it always rains when we have important things to do!!

Today is Shah’s big day! She’s collecting her MacBook Pro!

So we got on the shuttle bus to go to the IT CO-OP at YIH! But of course we braved through the elements, as usual. We have impressive dedication, seriously.

So awesome and thoroughly exciting! The only thing not so exciting was the laptop bag that came in the bundle. Like they weren’t kidding when they said laptop BAG.

No la obviously we aren’t snobs. We are highly nice people.

ANYWAY!!!!!!!! I’ve been having this MAYJAHHH pimple on my chin! It surfaced a few days ago and my sister says its retribution for always laughing at her and I think she’s right! Cos I usually don’t get humongous pimplesssssss URGHHHH.

And this one is like the spawn of satan because its positively gleaming and I’m sure its visible from Mars!!

This is even after I put on like 3 layers of high coverage liquid foundation (just on my chin)!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHH.

It was worse yesterday because my chin actually looked deformed but luckily I didn’t have to face the world but today I do! And its not getting any better OMGSIAN.

And speaking of omgsian I was complaining to Rafiq about the pimple just a few minutes ago and he suggested I put a bandage on it and say Shah beat me!!!!!!!

Like the recipe calls for crushed red peppers but omg we all know that’s only for sissys. My mum added like ten times the normal humane amount of chilli padi. Because this was sssmmokinnnn.

McNuggets

OMG Shah and I are so sanggup I tell you!

Last night I was telling her that I was craving for McNuggets! And today while I was annoying her some more about the nuggets she suddenly let out a gasp and I’m like, Okay no need so excited.

She pulled out those Macs game piece and she had one which allowed her to claim a free Fillet O Fish and we were both so excited and started clapping and so we decided to go to Macs for lunch today but when it reached lunchtime, it was raining super heavily!

Shah: Eh so how? Do you still wanna go Macs in the rain?

Me: I don’t mind, you?

Shah: Ya I also don’t mind!

So off we went OMG I felt so accomplished as we braved the elements! We took bus A1 to the central library stop but because it stopped on the central library side, we had to go one freaking long way just to cross the road!

We had to walk to take the central library lift, waited for about 2 lifts before we got on – since the central lib lift is so freakin small. Climbed like a batrillion steps and walked to the bridge to cross over and walked through the eternal maze that is the faculty of Engineering before we reached MACS! (OMG I feel so tired just typing that out!!)

Ya and macs was packed!! But we found a space nevertheless!! All that for glorious nuggets and fillet o fish! YAY processed meat!

YUMZ to the bombz (ttb) srzly.

I opened up my game pieces and I got a free apple pie but I really wasn’t in the mood for apple pie so I got a McFlurry and Shah got her hot fudge sundae!

We ate while walking the mega long way back to the busstop and I was getting a headache from eating and walking at the same time so we sat at a random bench in Engin to finish our ice cream!

It was then when a nyonya suddenly violently plops down on our bench thereby rattling it and Shah was shocked and she was all “OMG I thought *YOU* were shaking the bench” (in Malay, of course, we didn’t wanna hurt the nyonya’s feelings).

BUT THATS NOT ALL!

A few minutes later, while we were discussing internships, the nyonya FARTS! Like damn freaking loudly and it was those lonnngggg farts OMG!! (And her back was facing us!!!!!!! OMG EW)

So I looked at Shah and Shah looked at me and Shah was like “OMG AMY, WHAT DID SHE DO!?”

And I’m like “OMG WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT SHAH!!! SHE OBVIOUSLY FARTED!!!”

Shah was like “EH WAHLAU EH MACAM SIAK takde mood aku nak makan” while she proceeds to play with her ice cream.

HAHAHAH! Shah’s damn funny when she breaks out into minah mode.

So yah that’s the story of our Macs adventure and how we braved the elements and the nyonya who farted in our faces. We spent 1h 30 min for lunch.

Today was the last day of lab for my group so as usual photos to celebrate the last day!!

He’s seriously like the best TA ever! Super patient and super funny and nice and although he’s from China his English is awesome and totally comprehensible by the average human. And he’s the same age as I am, and already doing PhD omg.

A brand new day, a brand new lab report!

Its amazing how I get work done when my freaking table is so freaking messy all the freaking time. Seriously gave up tidying it because the tidiness will last for approximately 20h.

So I love Taylor Swift and I think she’s super talented for writing ALL her songs and funny and real and this video was featured on youtube today and its incredibly funny. Enjoy!

Can you BELIEVE I’m STILL at my lab report which I started on SATURDAY!

Arghhhhhhhhh.

I’m just left with the introduction and we all know that is the hardest to write!

Pages/Numbers

Sucha lovely Saturday and I’m stuck in the science library writing lab reports. I’m with my 18 year old A level sister who’s in major geek out mode complete with her graphic calculator and heaps of GP readings!

Its my first time finally using Pages (mac version of Word) and Numbers (mac version of Excel) for real work and its quite a breeze actually.

It was a little bit strange at first because it is different from Word and Excel in certain areas especially formatting, but after a while it becomes very convenient because everything you want to edit like the font size, alignment, trendline for the graph and borders are ALL packed into this sidebar thing they call the inspector.

And when you select the values to plot on Numbers, it even highlights and tells you which is x and y, something that Excel doesn’t do.

Its quite awesome and I’m kind of loving it.

Ouh and Shah also placed an order for the Macbook pro! Yay we be apple friends!

OKAY UPDATE! I found a MAYYJAH flaw in Numbers. It doesn’t allow you to set the intercept of the trendline! I just spent the past hour finding out how to do that and Numbers doesn’t support that! When in Excel its as simple as checking a box!

GAHHHH.

Its true after all. Microsoft is better at spreadsheets!
